I am a healthcare professional whom has made her career in Long Term Care. My heart is taking care of our Seniors and making sure they get the kind of care that they deserve. I am a Wound Care Certified Nurse and love to take on many challenging residents in my lifetime. I lived by the motto \"I can be part of the problem or part of the solution\" Guess which side I have been on - SOLUTIONS!Pam has worked in many capacities in the Nursing Home Market; starting as a Certified Nurse Assistant while going through Nursing School she learned the basics. Pam has spent much of her career in management of facilities but always heading the Pressure Ulcer Program keeping her hands-on with the Direct Care Staff. Pam feels the best way to train the staff is to be on the units with them. She has worked in the roles of Charge Nurse, Wound Care Nurse, DON, Corporate Nurse and Vice President of Clinical for various facilities, Regional Operations and VP of Clinical for a Medical Supply Company. Incorporating her own consulting firm in March of 1995, LTC Associates Limited, Pam and her team would consult to facilities in program development, survey readiness and reimbursement documentation. They would assist the facilities in implementation of the Federal Guidelines, Facility Policy and Procedures and development of the resident care plans. When Pam took on the business aspect of the facility, she became the Assistant Administrator of a large County Facility and soon after that worked in the field as an Administrator in training. There is no role in the LTC home that Pam hasn’t been involved. For 12 years I was the Vice President of Clinical & Regulatory Compliance for Professional Medical Supply. I put my years of experience to use in product development and publishing of Resource Manuals and in-service guides to assist LTC facilities remain in Compliance.
