A mother/daughter duo raising awareness around teen mental health issues through a lived experience lens, providing a safe space for teens to connect and build community and disrupting mental health stigmas along the way.\"Through my career as a social worker, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people during their darkest days - from mental health & addiction program management to crisis counseling, I was very familiar with the supports and services we offer in Saskatoon. When my daughter\'s mental health crisis began in August of 2022, I couldn’t find anything local that we felt was a fit for the needs we had - a safe space for teens struggling with mental health to connect and a support network for their caregivers. So, we decided to build the community we wished to be a part of and TeensTalk YXE was created”-
