ABOUT S. CHRISTINE PALMER
Experience executing evidence-based interventions with individuals and groups with substance use disorder (SUD) in detoxification, inpatient and outpatient treatment, abstinence-based, harm reduction and medication assisted treatment (MAT), intensive outpatient (IOP), hospital and primary care practice and tele-health settings, including those with co-occurring mental health disorders, neurodiversity, cognitive and developmental disabilities, and trauma- Training and experience in Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) peer-based recovery support services, Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT), biopsychosocial assessments, Individual Plans of Service (IPOS), Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), behavior activation and skills training, Stages of Change Model, recovery planning, relapse prevention, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, group facilitation, etc- Extensive business skills and experience in information technology, healthcare web content management, case management, online training development/implementation, program evaluation and feedback- Personal lived experience, long-term SUD recovery (5/20/2005 - present), and active participation/advocacy within the local and national recovery communities
