   I embraced a lateral move to spearhead the creation of our Data Governance area and the maturation of our Data Engineering processes. This move was driven by wanting to expand my technical knowledge and shaping our data estate as the company continues to grow. In my role as an individual contributor, I\'ve been influencing, architecting, and developing solutions that drive cost savings and optimize existing processes while promoting data management initiatives. Strategic Roadmap Architect: Spearheaded the creation of a multi-year roadmap focused on scaling startup processes to maturity in alignment with company growth, resulting in significant operational improvements. Microsoft Purview Implementation: Leveraging Python SDK and Terraform to implement Microsoft Purview, automating data lineage, cataloging, and metadata management. This will lead to enhanced data transparency and unlock additional business value. Enterprise Data Archiving: Partnering with appdev and data teams to solution architect an enterprise-wide data archiving microservice, resulting in substantial cost reductions and improved application performance. Cost Optimization Maestro: Formed a task force and led the charge in assessing and implementing value driver and cost reductions to maximize ROI of our observability toolchain. This led to a 59% reduction in New Relic costs, equating to $1.6 million in annual savings.
