I am a board-certified Medical Oncologist/Hematologist specializing in the care of patients with breast cancer, having treated thousands of patients over almost 20 years in both academic and community practice settings. I hold a 3rd board certification in Integrative Medicine, which I utilize to incorporate evidence-based complementary medicine approaches to conventional oncologic care during and after cancer therapy. I am co-author of \"After Cancer Care \" an international best seller that provides a comprehensive self-care guide to cancer survivors upon completion of cancer therapy. In Feb 2023, I am thrilled to announce my new role as Medical Director of Reimagine Care, a venture-funded startup that is transforming the cancer care & recovery experience by making high quality care more affordable, accessible and patient-centric. I continue to be involved in direct patient care moving forward but in a more limited capacity.
