I recently joined Wellcove CHCs as a Trainee Associate in the Medical Claim Specialist role ( Accident Department). My responsibilities include reviewing medical documentation, Electronic Health Records,(ICD10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Codes), Revenue Codes, benefit codes, Medical Terminologies,Policy guidelines, HIPPA Guidelines, and claim forms to ensure accurate and efficient claim processing. By carefully analyzing this information, I proceed accordingly to assess claims for payment based on policy coverage, medical necessity, and billing guidelines. and process it by using specialized tools.
