About Michelle Ruff

Ms. Ruff joined the firm in 2020. As a Senior Associate Corporate Counsel, she advises Harrison Street on matters including transaction structuring, acquisitions, dispositions, and asset-management across the firm’s portfolio of real estate assets. Prior to joining Harrison Street, Ms. Ruff was an Associate at Seyfarth Shaw LLP in Chicago, where she represented institutional investors, lenders, developers, and various Fortune 500 companies on all aspects of real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and other corporate matters. Ms. Ruff holds a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration and an M.S. in Financial Economics, from Saint Louis University, and a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. She is a member of the Illinois Bar.
