E Source is a utilities focused consulting, research, and data science company in the US and Canada. Delivered operational engagements for two of the largest utilities (Water and Gas / Electric) in the United States.Part of the Blueprinting Phase (~12 months) in a 6-year ERP modernization program for a leading US water utility. Conducted business process assessment for Distribution and Meter Operations across 6 state operating companies through workshops, interviews, and ride-along. Also conducted QA / QC across functions (E&C, Treatment, WQ & EC, Meter to Cash, Finance etc.), assessed interdependencies and prioritized improvements.Led an Enterprise Fleet Optimization project for a leading gas & electric utility. Conducted data analysis, assessments, field visits, benchmarking and alignment workshops (~$72 MM savings). Developed unit-level model to decide b/w own, lease or rent and to prioritize units based on conversion ROI and capital availability.Enabled a Canadian Electric utility to plan capex and workforce based on different coal retirement scenarios and the adoption of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for Meter Operations.Led the development of firm’s capability in creating the ‘Target Operating Model’ for utilities.
