ABOUT PAIGE NOVOTA
I am a science-loving, health-and-wellness advocate and pediatrician to be. Currently, I am a nationally registered emergency medical technician practicing in the state of South Carolina, a fitness instructor for Shred415, and about to start medical school in July. I graduated from Furman University, where I was passionate about CHAARG (a women\'s wellness group), Panhellenic, tennis, and neuroscience. I conducted PTSD/dopamine research on rodent models in the Neuroscience department at Furman University and collaborated with Prisma Health in Alzheimer\'s Disease research. I volunteered at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital, which was an opportunity to connect with patients, advocate for them, and bring a smile to hopefully brighten what may be a difficult day for them.I enjoy working out at the gym, running outside, hiking, and reading. I love playing the piano and photography—my forms of artistic character to not let my left brain overpower my right.
