Among my colleagues I’m known as the one who can identify a silver lining in any cloud — and make everyone laugh as I do it.I’m an excellent communicator, experienced in working with a variety of constituencies, and am passionate about empowering others.Being involved in local communities is important to me, and I volunteer time with PDXWIT (PDX Women in Technology), Chicktech, PDX Python, and as a mentor for local early-career engineers and data analysts.When I’m not attending AgilePDX and PDX Python meetups, or helping plan the current year\'s ACT-W Portland conference, you can find me racing sailboats on the Columbia River, researching who to add to/drop from my fantasy hockey and football team lineups, or reading an anthology of Science Fiction short stories with several cats piled on my lap.
