Provides music therapy and research interventions in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (Mount Sinai West and The Mount Sinai Hospital locations) as well as antepartum/postpartum settings as part of an interdisciplinary clinical research team-Provides individualized live music-based interventions to support respiratory stability, feeding, and parent–infant bonding in premature infants-Contributes to active research study on entrainment and its effects on cerebral oxygenation (NIRS) in preterm infants-Collaborates with neonatologists, nurses, child life, and allied health to align music therapy goals with medical course of care-Maintains EPIC documentation for all interventions and research sessions in accordance with hospital protocols-Participates in case conference, psychosocial rounds, research coordination meetings, and scholarly dissemination preparations-Provides procedural support in antepartum and postpartum units as indicated
