ABOUT REY REYHANEH PAHLEVAN

I’m a technical lead with 12 years of experience in software engineering and AI, working across research-driven and fast-paced startup environments. I hold a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and have built my career at the intersection of strong technical depth and people leadership.I’ve led and scaled multidisciplinary engineering teams, owned technical direction, and delivered complex systems across distributed architectures, machine learning, developer tooling, augmented reality, analytics, and high-transaction platforms. I’m particularly motivated by enabling teams to do their best work and turning ambiguous ideas into reliable, production-ready systems that drive business impact.My background spans backend and frontend systems, with deep experience in service-oriented architectures, relational databases, machine learning and deep learning, and low-latency systems. I work closely with leadership, product, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, translate business goals into technical plans, and ensure alignment between engineering execution and business outcomes.Beyond delivery, I care deeply about team growth, clear communication, and sustainable engineering practices. I’ve served as an Executive Committee Member of the International Robocup Federation and have been recognised internationally for my contributions to AI and robotics, including awards as a distinguished young scientist, recognition among top women in robotics and tech, and global talent honours.
