Clare Boothe Luce Tenure-track Professor of Mathematics teaching courses in Finite Mathematics and Differential Equations and researching neuron morphological and underlying functional differences in animal models of behavioral disorders using mathematical modeling and machine learning. Position involves mentoring undergraduate students by providing them with sub-projects of their interest within my overarching research objectives and training them to use Python and R to extract features from and visualize data. Funding provided by Clare Booth Luce Foundation supporting early career women in academics. Continuing long-term collaborations on scaling theory in nervous systems with the Savage Lab at UCLA and Santa Fe Institute (SFI).
