   Hired to manage all sorority conferences, meetings and events ranging in size from attendees. • Seamlessly pivoted a four day in-person Convention to a one-day virtual event with over attendees in less than 2 months.• Annually planned and executed four regional conferences and two leadership retreats with over 1300 attendees.• Biannually produced and managed either an international convention or an alumnae leadership institute for between attendees. • Implemented and built a new registration system and mobile app for all company events. • Organized all elements of event production including site selection, vendor contracts, transportation, communication, registration, onsite check-in, audio visual, hotel rooming lists, event set-up, shipping, menu selection and décor.• Conducted annual site inspections of potential properties to select future locations, negotiate concessions and secure contracts. • Forecasted and managed in excess of 1 million dollars in event budget funds throughout 9 cost centers annually. • Managed an event assistant by providing consistent task assignments, training, feedback and guidance on company procedures and event standards. • Assisted other internal departments and divisions with smaller event planning projects. • Trained and directed a team of convention staff and volunteers to execute to results within their assigned areas.
