Material handling equipment Maintenance & Amazon Building unit Maintenance -Identifying modifications for improvements in machine’s reliability and performance and Implementing once approved-Install, align, dismantle industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such conveyors, motors, gearbox and packaging machines etc. according to layout plans using hand and power tools-Read manuals and mechanical drawings to determine work procedures for maintenance-Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as jacks, rigging equipment and Powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery-Install, troubleshoot and maintain basic power distribution systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sensors, transmitters and programmable logic controllers-Identifying, executing and recording preventive maintenance to control equipment components degradation and prevent unplanned downtime by repairing and replacing defective parts-Operate machine tools such as band saw, drill press, hydraulic bender and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance-Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools- Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems within the facility, ensuring optimal functionality- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various electrical components including AC motors, photo-eyes, conveyor belts, MDRs, limit switches, and proximity sensors- Efficiently create and close out work orders, documenting labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used- Cultivate positive working relationships with colleagues and management to facilitate effective teamwork- Strategize and execute work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets, ensuring minimal downtime-Mentor level I technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals.
