About Padraic Carr
I\'m a second-year pre-law student at the University of Southern California and an aspiring music industry professional. I am currently seeking Summer 2026 opportunities in the music industry, entertainment affairs, law, or an intersection of these fields. I am eager to involve myself more and provide my professional skills in these practices. I strive to remain active in the music and entertainment business, currently serving as a touring intern for David Redd, a live music reviewer for MXDWN, and leading in multiple facets of USC\'s music business scene. As someone who comes from a musical background myself, I am passionate about engaging and supporting artists and industry affairs. Combining my Music Industry and Legal Studies academics at USC, I continue to grow my love for music and entertainment law, and expand my knowledge base on supporting and protecting artists\' creative work. Recently, I have found myself engaging with festival/venue booking and agency work, legal writing/ developments relating to the music industry, AI\'s role in music, and licensing. I am thrilled to continue exploring these areas of the business and navigation solutions for issues in the modern-day music industry as I move through my journey to law school.
