ABOUT PADMINI MISRA
Working in and leading software engineering teams for some of Silicon Valley’s most well-known companies enables me to have the impact that is important to me. I’ve been challenged to work with many different technologies and cross-functional teams to contribute to the goals of growing business. I encourage my team to try different approaches and take risks to get things done, and take a personal interest in my team members, understanding their strengths and talents and their professional goals to help them succeed. That creates a win-win for everyone: the company, the team and for me as a leader. In addition to my corporate leadership experience, I have a strong passion for STEM education and mentorship. I’ve served on school boards and coached student math teams, helping to develop young problem solvers.I enjoy challenging myself outside of work, as well. As an avid cyclist, hiker and backpacker, I have completed a century bike ride, many challenging hikes and backpacking adventures. These activities continuously keep me out of my comfort zone and help me see what more I am capable of.
