Padmini Iyer is a B.E. Instrumentation Engineer from V.E.S. Institute of Technology, Mumbai University. She has more than 12 years of experience in the Detail Engineering sector. She is currently working as Instrumentation Engineer at Aker Solutions, Norway.She has gained good exposure in Detail Engineering in the downstream sector of the petrochemical industry and is currently handling independent Brownfield Modification projects in the North Sea.She hopes to keep learning as much as she can and gain some practical exposure in terms of Project Management and Detail Engineering. She has worked with a number of clients from Norway, Middle East, USA and India. She has gained hands-on experience with SPI, TIME 9.02, MIPS, SAP, SPF, AVEVA Instrumentation, MS Office.She has completed the Basic Safety and Emergency Training Course required to work on offshore platforms.She is also interested in engineering related to Renewable Energy Sources and has completed a 5 week online certification course on Wind Energy Engineering from DTU (Technical University of Denmark).
