Sponsor embedded Study Manager that serves as the primary contact between the study team, relevant stakeholders and CROs/vendors. Drives and owns the overall delivery of the study or activities under their responsibility through cross -functional project leadership. Uses sponsor’s integrated processes to ensure oversight of the activities and ensures clear delineation in responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads when needed. Ensures financial stewardship, aligning activities and resources to budget. Oversight of CRO’s/vendors deliverables and management of eventual out of scope activities, negotiates and drives CRO/vendor contract modification. Drives and owns the risk management and mitigation process; communicates status, escalates issues as appropriate and establishes partnership with stakeholders to achieve optimal project delivery.
