About Aniruddh Padmanaban
Hello! I am an aspiring Data Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems using data. I am a Master of Science in Financial Analytics student at Stevens Institute of Technology (expected to graduate in December 2021). In July 2018, I graduated from Manipal Institute of Technology in India with my Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. Over the last few semesters of my program, I have had the opportunity to complete several projects involving Python, R and SQL. I have also tackled many technical academic projects, as listed on my resumé, which allowed me to learn to work in a team and manage my time wisely. During my internship at Valtitude, I had the opportunity to apply my knowledge of Python and Excel to a real-world setting. Most of the projects that I worked on during my internship involved using APIs to retrieve data. I developed a US stock screener program which examines tickers in S&P 500 and RUSSELL indices to filter for high volume volatility and deliver results as a daily, infographic email. One of the key deliverables I worked on involved complex data validation operations (including merging dataframes and creating pivot tables) using the Pandas module of Python. Skills: Python: pandas, numpy, yfinance, beautifulsoup4, scipy, matplotlib, openpyxl, nltk, pytorch, tensorflow R: tidyverse, plotly, ggplot2, shiny, knitr, reticulate, xts Database management: SQL(MySQL, PostgreSQL), Microsoft Access Dashboard design tools: Shiny, Streamlit, Dash, Flask Data Visualization: Tableau, Flourish, Kepler.gl Software: Microsoft Office Package – Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, basic VBA & Macros), Word, PowerPoint Cloud computing: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft AZURE I\'m graduating in December 2021, and I\'m interested in full-time data analyst or data science roles.
