As a Quality Assurance Analyst, my job is to assist with investigations and provide legal advice to Investigations Section personnel therefore I: • Conduct preliminary assessments of misconduct allegations related to procurement fraud, failure to comply with obligations, sexual misconduct, misuse of official resources, misrepresentation, forgery and false certification, entitlements fraud against UNDP personnel and non-staff members (vendors, implementing partners, UN Volunteers) including collecting evidence, interviewing subjects and witnesses and related investigative activities• Conduct Quality Assurance review of investigation reports: providing legal advice and ensuring application of legal norms related to standard of proof and due process during investigations. • Reporting to external donors and the United Nations Board of Auditors on the audit of misconduct and fraud related cases to inform on investigation process and potential financial loss. The Investigations Section is also tasked with investigating allegations against parties external to UNDP of financial irregularities committed to the detriment of UNDP. In addition, OAI undertakes proactive investigations in high risk areas that are susceptible to wrongdoings, fraud and corruption.
