   Regionally responsible for all transportation operations across the Americas covering Sea, Air, Truck, Parcel, e-commerce & Customs operations. Responsible for a direct team of 50 FTE’s with a total budget responsibility of $70M.• Owner & leader of a 3PL & inhouse control tower with more than 2M annual shipments (1B units).• Decision maker on transport bidding processes working alongside procurement to ensure positive results. Main responsibilities in the process are management, making strategic decisions, leading RFPs, RFQs for all transportation modes & overall negotiating of rates, accesorials & surcharges.• Main projects & savings delivered have been VFR increase, RFP’s, routing, load optimization, PTA improvement, network designs, pool distribution, Duty Drawback & headcount reduction generating roughly $9M up until end of 2024 this represents YoY 5% annual budget savings.• Focal point to the centralized/global team in Amsterdam to leverage best practices & standardization across the region.• Direct contact, reporting & involvement with C-Level executives within the company by reporting projects & developing strategies.
