   As Chief Engineer of ARIS\'s first student-built cryogenic bi-liquid sounding rocket, I lead the end-to-end technical development and systems engineering of the HERMES mission, coordinating a cross-functional team of 55+ engineers across propulsion, avionics, structures, and guided recovery.Core Responsibilities:• Systems Engineering Leadership – Architect and maintain system-level interfaces, requirements, and V&V plans across all subsystems to ensure flight readiness for our EthaLOx launch vehicle.• Design Oversight & Technical Governance – Lead major reviews (from SRR to FRR), supervise trade-offs, and uphold performance, safety, and integration standards across all mission-critical hardware.• Program Execution & Strategy – Align project timelines, budgets, and team capacity with external deliverables, coordinating supplier relations, sponsor integration, and risk mitigation strategies.• Documentation & Lifecycle Management – Define and implement ECSS-aligned engineering documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer and scalability for HERMES II and future missions.
