Pablo J. Davis\'s practice focuses on False Claims Act (FCA)-based litigation. In addition to general commercial litigation, he also conducts Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other anti-corruption due diligence, and helps conduct international trade compliance investigations. Pablo is a member of the White Collar Defense & Government Investigations practice group with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP (Cincinnati, Ohio). Licensed in Ohio and Tennessee, he is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. In addition to incisive legal analysis and exceptional research and writing, Pablo draws on a wealth of professional experience, skills, and background-including past service as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Bernice B. Donald on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Pablo brings to his practice diverse professional experience before entering the legal profession, an international background, and linguistic prowess (native bilingual command of Spanish/English, good French/Portuguese, and working knowledge of Italian/Russian). Among skills acquired in his prior professional life: the precision and cool under pressure developed as a judicial interpreter; the resourceful research skills and finely honed interpretive abilities built as a historian, his first profession; and the eye for detail and striving for perfection cultivated as a professional translator. Pablo earned the J.D. cum laude in May 2017 at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he was a member of the Senior Editorial Board of the University of Memphis Law Review (Symposium Editor) and earned the CALI Award for best in class in Mediation/ADR, Professional Responsibility, National Security Law, Corporate Law Seminar, and Elder Law Clinic.

   Pablo\'s legal practice focuses on False Claims Act defense litigation, along with general commercial litigation. He also conducts Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other anti-corruption due diligence. He writes regularly on False Claims Act litigation and anti-fraud compliance issues for both Dinsmore & Shohl and for Pratt\'s Government Contracting Law Report, a LEXIS publication. Pablo brings an international and multilingual background to his practice; he has varying command of six languages (including native fluency in Spanish and English, and strong proficiency in Portuguese and French), and is an experienced legal interpreter and translator. Prior to joining Dinsmore, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Bernice B. Donald on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He also worked as a law clerk with the General Counsel of the Shelby County (Tennessee) Board of Education and as a judicial intern with the Honorable R. David Proctor of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He has extensive higher education experience as faculty and administrator, including service with the University of Virginia as an assistant dean of students. Pablo has published four pieces of legal scholarship, including a ground-breaking analytical overview of USDOJ\'s Kleptocracy Initiative, an innovative prosecutorial program deploying civil asset forfeiture in international corruption cases with money laundering and other underlying criminal conduct.
