Specialist Buyer - Buzios P79 FPSO Project Taskforce. Client: Petróleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) Project Scope & Challenge: EPCC Turnkey delivery of fully operating new build FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) vessel facility, which will allow initial separation of gas from the oil extracted in the deep offshore reservoir and will have a production capacity of barrels of oil per day (bopd) and 7.2 million cubic metres of (mcbm) gas per day, with a storage capacity of two million barrels of oil. The FPSO Vessel is expected to weigh 130 MT and span 345m x 60m x 33m for the development of Búzios field, the world’s largest deepwater oil field, located in the region of the pre-salt Santos Basin, approximately 200km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro at water depths ranging from 1,600m to 2,100m. Purchasing Packages include: • Electric Motor Driven Gas Compressors (Main Gas Compressor Applications, Export Gas Compressor Applications, Injection Gas Compressor Applications) • Gas Turbine Driven Compressors (CO2 Gas Compressors with Aeroderivative Gas turbine API 616 for offshore environment - LM2500) • Gas Dehydration Units (H2S Removal, Amine Refrigeration, Molecular Sieve Units) • Hydrocarbon Carbon Dew Point Control Unit Skids • Machine Monitoring Systems • Flow Metering Systems • Topside and Subsea Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) and Associated Control Racks • Corrosion Monitoring Systems
