About Paarth Falor
Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile and for showing an interest in wanting to get to know me!I was born and raised in an Indian family in Thailand. The large Indian diaspora in Thailand was comforting and I never felt like I was away from India. Post high school, I moved to Texas after I was admitted to Trinity University, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the span of 4 years. I loaded up my semesters and enrolled in a summer school program each year at a beach town in Thailand so that I could complete my Bachelor’s degree in 3 years while being close to my parents. The primary reason for expediting my bachelor’s degree was to alleviate the financial burden. Since graduation, I’ve been fortunate to work for so many eminent companies, such as Deloitte & Touché, Risk Management Solutions (now part of Moody’s Analytics), and Netflix. I love working at Netflix–my stunning colleagues continue to inspire me each day and fuel my curiosity and results-oriented mindset when we’re collectively solving incredibly challenging problems. Establishing a strong track record at Netflix has allowed me to lead a team of my own, understand what it means to lead authentically and purposefully, and get to know myself better. I am a hands-on leader who thinks it is equally important to get to know your team members professionally, but also who they are as humans and people outside of work. I’d love to apply these leadership experiences when I start my own company someday!Outside of work, I volunteer, play badminton and ultimate frisbee, hiking, and watching cricket and the English Premier League (#GGMU)! I also enjoy cooking for people and started my own pop-up kitchen to meet new people in my neighborhood and find people with shared interests.
