ABOUT PAARTH NAIR

I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the Colorado School of Mines, expecting to graduate in 2026. My passion for the automotive industry is demonstrated through my coursework in EV-Powertrains Systems and my hands-on project work, including leading a Capstone Design project and participating in the Battery Workforce Challenge. As a member of the BWC team, I have spearheaded the redesign of internal busbars, performed DFMEA on battery modules, and conducted vibration testing using GT-Suite.My professional experience includes a Manufacturing Engineering Internship at Samsung Semiconductor, where I enabled annual savings of applied SPC & 6 Sigma principles, and performed preventative maintenance on photolithography equipment. I also served as a Transportation Engineer Intern for WSDOT, where I conducted quality assurance for infrastructure projects by performing nuclear density testing, soil compaction analysis, and concrete slump testing. These roles, combined with projects like designing a 141 kWh battery pack and analyzing a double-wishbone suspension system using FEA, have strengthened my technical skills. I am proficient in 2D & 3D CAD, holding a CSWA certification, as well as FEA, GD & T, and programming with MATLAB and Python. I have also developed strong soft skills in leadership, complex problem-solving, and data-driven decision making, and I am eager to apply my expertise to new challenges in automotive engineering and sustainable technology.
