With over 4 years in Vedanta Resources and a decade and a half at BGR Energy Systems, my journey has evolved from Engineer to General Manager, focusing on Project / Program management, Planning and Control, Contract Management, Procurement, Business Development and other aspects in the power, metals, minerals and processing sectors. My expertise lies in Project / Program Controls, Detailed analysis, Conflict Resolution strategic negotiations, Continuous improvement, Resource / Budget Management, Problem-solving, and customer relationship management, which have been instrumental in successfully closing high-value contracts and streamlining vendor settlements.At the core of my professional ethos is the drive for operational excellence and financial prudence, ensuring the company\'s growth and sustainability.    Joined as Deputy Manager and Promoted up to General Manager & continuing assignments in second hierarchical level with interaction up to the board of directors of the Company- Delivered outputs at various timeframes including critical areas in the multiple facets related to grounds including financial and reputational growths to the company- Played important unique role for contract closures worth of crores in rupees- Made vendor settlements with excellent negotiations and reduced huge cash outflows for the company- Liasoned with TNEB / TANGEDCO & played a vital role in making the first turn over for the Project of 1X600 MW Thermal Power Plant (Since the date of LOI) till closure of the project- Played a vital role in dealing with various volumes of the EPC contracts and keen on providing the deliverables to the client strictly within the contractual boundary- Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, driving process enhancements and efficiency gains- Preparing Cash Flow Plans, Billing Break-Ups - Overall Project / Program Management / Co-Ordination for BTG/BoP portions of the Project - Continuous periodical follow-ups with suppliers to keep the steady flow of supplies to suit the various systems completion - Visiting suppliers places, conducting review meetings, finding-out bottlenecks, resolving the issues for smooth take-offs in critical systems Maintaining MIS, status reports for projecting to the higher level management to highlight the critical activities in advance so as to minimize the forthcoming delays- Playing interfacing role among the inter-departmental personnals to tie-up the missed-out links and also in regular basis.
