The mission of Wearsafe Labs was to create products that enhance personal security using technology.As CTO, I was responsible for product design, engineering, quality assurance, operations, risk management, and support. I owned our partner relationships and product roadmap, working closely with our partners and customer-facing teams to evolve it based on customer needs.Our patented products revolutionized how people communicate and are protected, as well as how responders engage to assist. Individuals, families, and enterprises benefited from our products.Our products were built in the cloud as SaaS to support Wearsafe\'s users, partners, and proprietary devices. Our platform provided direct real-time integration with emergency response centers and mobile network operators. Clients supported by Wearsafe software include iOS, Android, and AOSP mobile phones and tablets, Apple and WearOS watches, Web apps, and consoles that managed enterprise accounts. Additionally, our software supported smart audio devices equipped with Alexa and Google Assistant, as well as IoT smart devices and trackers.Our SaaS platform was a promise of reliability. Designed to be highly scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant, ensuring that our service was always available. We offered a range of products to cater to individual consumers and friends (B2C), as well as tailored solutions for businesses and enterprises (B2B), demonstrating our commitment to meeting diverse safety needs.We sold our products through multiple channels, including our e-commerce platform. We supported both one-time purchases, subscriptions, and enterprise contracts. Our e-commerce supported multiple payment options, including credit, ACH, and payment services, including PayPal, Google, Apple, and Amazon. Wearsafe also launched a Software Development Kit (SDK) for partners to integrate Wearsafe functionality into their products and services, providing advanced safety capabilities to their user communities.
