About Ozod Shams

I am an ECFMG certified foreign medical graduate and hold medical degree from St. George’s University Medical School. My goal is to secure my residency in the future and work as a full time physician. It is just a matter of time for me to make it happen. I currently work for non-profit organizations and continue to be of service and strive to help people. In the past, I worked in clinical research for many years where I have gained knowledge required to conduct studies independently and received ACRP-CP certification. I have also worked in other areas, but I realized that doing business and making sales is not what I aspire to do long term. As a second generation foreign medical graduate, my goal has always been to treat patient and help them live a better life. I play tennis since high school at an advanced level. I also love swimming, playing chess, and go to gym for bodybuilding in my spare time. I had blue belt in Shotokan Karate-Do when I was twelve and currently training again in local dojo on getting brown and then black belt. I keep reptiles and it’s my hobby. Over the years, I produced many hatchlings that I sold locally and at expos. It’s not my main goal in life, just a hobby that I enjoy :) I have spare time because I don’t have a family. My best friends are my Dobermans. I saved their lives many times from fights and infection, and I think they saved mine as well for being there for me!
