ABOUT KAMIL ÖZGEN
Since 1993, I have been working in the broadcasting sector, starting my career as a sound assistant. Over the years, I have taken on various roles, including Sound Engineer, Technical Director, and Broadcast System Engineer. I spent 11 years at Digiturk, Turkey\'s first digital TV platform, and served as the Broadcast IT Manager for the Turkmenistan TV Tower Project, which had a budget of $450 million. In 2013, I founded my company, KML Broadcast, where I successfully collaborated with organizations such as TRT (Turkish Radio Television) and Türk Telekom (Turkish Telecommunications Company). I set up 12 OB vans for TRT and established all the broadcast infrastructures as a subcontractor for their renewal project. Additionally, I implemented Playout systems for Türk Telekom\'s IPTV and managed their relocation to a new site three years later. I have personally engaged in broadcast system design, equipment selection, project drawings using CAD, cabling, system commissioning, and training, establishing my own standards along the way. I have participated in the assembly of over 50 OB vans, helped establish more than 25 TV channels, and upgraded these channels. My ability to generate fast and effective solutions, along with my strong analytical thinking skills, sets me apart. Furthermore, I have taught Advanced Television Production courses at Acun Medya Academy for four terms. I possess extensive experience and knowledge of all systems related to broadcasting, including online and offline storage systems, glue equipment, automation systems, multiviewers, cameras, video mixers, slow-motion systems, media asset management (M.A.M.) systems, news automation, uplink headends, network systems, switches, and more.
