   Teach Elementary Instrumental Music (EIM) at multiple schools. Students have fun and perform at school and district concerts.• Teach middle school mixed-instrument ensembles at a K-8 school. • For EIM, have taken on leadership roles that involved- Designing official standards and practices for our department- Creating report card categories in alignment with the latest state learning standards- Writing district rubrics to standardize grading practice- Developing updated scope and sequence for our instrumental teaching practice- Promoting reflective, anti-racist teaching practice.• For middle school band, have- Lobbied for and been granted a regular school-day instrumental class.(Previously, there were no electives classes in the schedule.)- Advocated for and achieved more elective choices in the day for students, which enabled me to offer two level-based ensemble classes. Due to staffing and scheduling limitations on a small K-8 middle school, we are able to accommodate winds, strings, and percussion all in the same class- Acquired all needed concert percussion through donations and grants from: WMEA, Çan\'dAid, and PTA- Led performances at school, district events, Seafair, community events, and the Syttende mai parade.
