ABOUT KWAME OWUSU-ANSAH
With over 5 years of experience as a civil engineer and a master\'s degree in organizational development, I have a unique combination of skills and knowledge that enable me to create positive social impact and foster sustainable development. In 2023, I founded ThriveWorks Ghana, a nonprofit organization that empowers young people to thrive in current and future economies. Through youth leadership, mentorship, and trade skills development, we connect our beneficiaries to capable people in various industries who take on our people as mentees or apprentices. We also provide them with the necessary resources, standards, and guidance for the trainings, and monitor and evaluate the outcomes. Additionally, I am responsible for fundraising and development for the organization, as well as managing discovery driven programs.Previously, I worked as a civil engineer for 5 years, where I delivered quality results and ensured client satisfaction in construction development, management, and supervision. I applied my skills in problem solving, project planning, and presentations, and obtained multiple certifications in construction safety, change orders, and risk management.My goal is to assist organizations and communities in enhancing their ability to adapt to fast-changing markets and technologies and enhance overall productivity.
