My passion is to get projects done efficiently, within budget and schedule! more importantly, I enjoy working with people, building teams and coaching team members to perform at their best. I am self motivated, innovative, an out of the box thinker, resourceful in seeking solutions to complex problems and challenges, skilled in supervisory and operational management, business and strategic planning, client service management, marketing and proposal preparation; team leadership and mentorship of staff; staff planning and growth projection; client focused with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.As a Program/Project manager, I plan and get the work done, including scope, budget, schedule, resource assignment, health and safety planning; prepare, negotiate and implement contract; manage project implementation team, who may be geographically dispersed and multi-disciplined; manage the design team from concept through feasibility, preliminary, detailed, tendering, construction administration and management, fabrication and operation of projects.Some of my major achievements are: • Managed design team for a diversion chamber and upstream apron at the Calgary Airport Authority for collection and diverting glycol runoff for plane deicing; construction team management, and entire project completion within a year• Managed design team, fabricator, and installation team for a pilot plant to treat landfill leachate using High-Density Sludge (HDS), Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) processes; lead team on final evaluation of findings, conceptual design for full scale and final reporting, The City of Calgary, AB. • Designed process and specs for WW facilities; optimization studies for WW treatment plants; designed pumping stations, aeration and clarifier tanks, UV systems, and instrumentation for four Living Machine plants• Designed 25 pumping stations, ranging from 100 mm to 300 mm (4” to 12”) pumps, both electrical and diesel powered, in Central Florida• Planned 300K household composting facility and site development for a 60-hectare (150 acres) campus, The City of Calgary, AB• Directed a Federal Grant Program, Manatee County’s Agricultural Reuse System to reduce aquifer withdrawals by utilizing reclaimed water for agricultural irrigation water, Florida • Designed and developed irrigation and water supply systems for the world famous Bahá’í gardens in northern IsraelI enjoy meeting new people, explore new opportunities and get engaged.
