I lead design for the developer experience team, where we craft high quality UX from the CLI to the dashboard and more. I also co-founded our Developer AI team, which is defining how the next-generation of AI-native developers will build on top of Stripe. My org of 15+ designers is working on tools like Stripe Workbench, a reimagined, context-aware tool that makes it easier than ever to build a great integration, Sandboxes, our next-generation test mode experience, our Extensibility platform, and much more.

ABOUT OWEN WILLIAMS
I\'ve worn a ton of different hats: people leader, content designer, developer, and infrastructure engineer. Over the years I\'ve learned how to build great teams, scale design\'s impact, communicate effectively, and bring product design excellence to companies of all sizes. For half a decade, I provided product design/content strategy consulting to tech companies like DigitalOcean, Spotify, Clearbit, and IKEA. At Shopify, I led and grew design teams working on next-generation developer experiences, including platform extensibility, Online Store 2.0, API versioning, and enabling the next-generation of shopping experiences with Hydrogen and Oxygen. In my spare time I also build my own ideas to stay close to the code; from a paid newsletter platform (pre-Substack) that earned $200K over two years, to a writing platform that hundreds of people used daily to hone their own writing craft as a community.TL;DR?
