About Owen Phelan
I have always been interested in the science of the natural world and protecting our Earth, but more specifically, in how different laws, regulations, and social norms shape how people consume and become more sustainable globally. I am currently a senior at Connecticut College studying Environmental Science, and the specific curriculum I have followed has allowed me to follow this passion and explore it more in-depth. I have a deep understanding of how the role of economics and government influences decisions within a state or individual.

Conducted recycling audits and compiled data of contamination rates. Performed curbside tagging programs to spread awareness of recycling.
