About Owen Pearl
Hi! My name is Owen, and I am passionate about increasing widespread musculoskeletal well-being and making the world a better place :) Check out my prior research here: I originally hail from Hershey, PA, “The Sweetest Place on Earth”, and finished my BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering at Temple University, completing my MS thesis with the Robotics in Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering (RISE) Lab. After being awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, I worked at the intersection of dynamics, robotics, controls, simulation, sensing, and machine learning to improve clinical care and rehabilitation practices with the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Lab and the Micro Robotics Lab of Carnegie Mellon University\'s Robotics Institute. Now, I work at the Nike Sport Research Lab (the largest biomechanics lab in the world of its kind) where I continue to develop advanced technology to revolutionize human performance.
