Responsible for the maintenance and preparation of the club’s fleet, including tasks such as reservation preparations, boat repairs, rigging, and cleaning. I also managed routine upkeep tasks, such as restroom sanitation and waste disposal.Sponsored by the club to obtain my Level 1 Sailing Instructor Certification. Following successful completion of the certification, I took on the role of Sailing Instructor for the Youth Learn to Sail program. I taught ages 8-80 old how to properly sail Sunfish, Optis, Precision 15, and Hunter 18.Each day at the club presented new and unpredictable challenges that offered opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving.
