With more than 15 years in the Construction industry, I have developed a broad range of competencies in various areas of construction and operation, primarily in the MEP/FP areas.My current responsibilities include-Project manager on 400 N LSD, a 72 story residential tower focusing on MEP trades-Managing customer and vendor relationships-Developing solutions to reduce cost, improve schedule, and / or improve project quality and constructability -Budgeting and estimating MEP/FP construction costs-Reviewing subcontractor proposals for compliance with project requirements-Managing the pre-construction process for MEP/FP trades-Contract review and contract negotiationPast experience includes-Design-build mechanical estimating, sales, and project management-Managing commissioning process as it related to the mechanical scope of work-Project scheduling-Performing preventative maintenance as a building engineer at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County-Performing emergency repairs to HVAC equipment -Completing paperwork required by the hospital such as JCAHO documentation-Adjunct instructor for Triton College in the Facilities Engineering Technology program, providing instruction to IOUE Local 399 Building Engineer workers and trainees, as well as Triton College Students looking to get in to the HVAC industry.
