As a General Accountant, I support key areas of the company’s financial operations, helping ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across a wide range of accounting functions. My role bridges daily transaction management and strategic projects, contributing to both operational efficiency and long-term financial planning.Key Responsibilities: • Perform daily A/R, cash, and inventory reconciliations • Process manufacturing work orders and prepare gross margin analysis reports • Assist with month-end close activities, including allocation of costs (imprint, SH order, CD duplication) • Review, reconcile, and serve as a backup for payroll processing • Manage external commission calculations and payments • Support corporate budgeting processes and maintain credit card files/spreadsheets • Review and approve coding for non-PO and credit card expenses • Prepare and process royalties, accrual entries, and tax return organization • Assist with A/R functions and help manage seasonal workload • Contribute to special projects, including ERP system and payroll software upgradesThis role has allowed me to strengthen my technical accounting skills, work cross-functionally with finance and operations teams, and gain hands-on experience with systems implementation and process improvement initiatives.
