About Owain Rowlands

With 17 years as a professional yachtsman, including more than 7 as a Chief Officer and in my sixth year as Captain, I am currently seeking a position as Master aboard a 50m-75m vessel. Having navigated extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, US, Bahamas Middle East including Saudi Arabia and Dubai. I have close knowledge of a wide range of superyacht cruising areas, anchorages and ports. In addition to overseeing shipyard and maintenance projects I have sound AV and engineering knowledge to assist in understanding the vessels maintenance needs in conjunction with the Chief Engineer. I am competent in all ship administration and IT systems including accounting, commercial compliance regulations and crew management. As a leader I have a proven reputation for creating award winning teams and with a track record of extremely happy charter guests my focus is always on providing exemplary service. I look forward to joining a professional vessel where I can prove myself to be a valuable asset to our owners, management and my colleagues.
