ABOUT OVIDIU CINCHEZA
Real-time SW for embedded systems professional in the automotive body and cabin controls, passenger cars, commercial vehicles units with MSc in Automotive Embedded Systems, and BE in Computer Science. My field of expertise is the development of embedded software for instrument clusters and body computers. In the past, I have worked as a consultant on body computer projects for Jaguar and Land Rover at Lear Corporation. My main tasks were the development of software modules in C for the Freescale microcontrollers based on Misra, Autosar and Lear quality standards following the V cycle model. The parts for which I was responsible were located in the middleware and application parts of the software architecture. For the application part the task was the integration of Matlab models. I was also part of the Lear Model Base Design Global Team, in charge of maintaining and developing the Lear Model Based architecture. Before that, I spent 6 years working on instrumentation projects for major manufacturers of commercial vehicles all over the world such as DAF, Kenworth, Peterbilt, IVECO, NORINCO, China National Heavy Truck Corporation, Tata Motors Limited, Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles and Beiqi Foton Motor Co. LTD. During that time, I worked on the development of software modules in C language from driver level to the application layer. On the driver level I worked on porting modules that handled the performance management of the microcontroller, powerfail handling and serial communication. On the application level I mostly worked on Human Machine Interface features. Other tasks were to develop Canoe simulations, test specifications, performance specification documents and requirements analysis. All these tasks were carried out in line with an internal software development process, using tools for version and change management.
