ABOUT OUSMANE BALDE

I am a results-driven General Manager with over a decade of experience leading operations, logistics, and manufacturing functions across fast-paced, high-growth environments. Currently, I lead at TERREPOWER, a forward-thinking energy solutions company, where I’ve held leadership positions as General Manager, Operations Manager, and Inventory Manager. In each role, I’ve focused on building agile systems, empowering teams, and delivering measurable improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Before joining TERREPOWER, I served as Logistics Operations Manager at VonRoll USA, where I managed complex material flows and warehouse operations, and previously held a senior logistics position at GlobalFoundries, a global semiconductor leader. My foundation in operations was shaped at Target Corporation, where I developed expertise in large-scale distribution and inventory management.I bring a unique combination of technical acumen and people-centered leadership. I hold dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business and Mathematical Sciences from the University at Albany, and earned an MBA from The College of Saint Rose, where I was a merit scholar and contributed as a data analyst on cross-functional academic projects.My passion lies in continuous improvement, team development, and building resilient operational systems. I thrive in mission-driven environments where innovation and accountability drive performance. I take pride in mentoring staff, fostering inclusive team cultures, and aligning day-to-day execution with long-term strategic goals.Outside of work, I stay involved in community initiatives, especially those supporting education and youth development in the Albany area and abroad.
