Perform inventory management activitiesReview KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reports for my category in order to optimize inventory and reduce losses • Develop and manage seasonal procurement plans using available systems • Serve as the key contact for suppliers regarding inventory needs • Ensure product availability while minimizing losses from perishable stock • Coordinate with suppliers, distribution, and receiving teams to ensure proper stock flow to distribution centers • Interpret analysis results and provide recommendations • Deliver accurate reports and insights to better anticipate inventory needs based on sales volume • Collaborate closely with merchandising, sales, and national chain teams to meet all customer product needs, including during transitions, new product launches, or product discontinuations • Conduct regular supplier performance analysis • Work with accounting and receiving teams to resolve billing issues and submit claims to suppliers • Coordinate with the transportation team for local order pickups • Process RTV (Return to Vendor) POs for non-compliant products
