My name is Oumie and I\'m a second year undergraduate at Dartmouth studying molecular cell biology. I’m interested in the disparities of cardiovascular care and nuclear medicine access in low income communities. I\'m passionate about all things I engage in, whether it be poetry, research, or working towards education equity. I find strength in pushing myself while I navigate my journey to reaching self-actualization. No matter how difficult the path may be to achieving my dreams, I refuse to concede. I refuse to call my hopes, dreams, fantasies, or ideas make-believe. I Believe in myself, I believe in my capabilities, but most importantly, I believe in my potential. I hope you can too.
