   This Cross-Functional engineering role focuses on translating customer business and technical needs into requirements other disciplines can use to design and optimize a system. I\'m responsible for tailoring and implementing applicable design processes and standards to drive more efficient product development cycles. As a Systems Engineer, I support system conceptualization, trade studies, architecture implementation, risk management, technical reviews, system integration, testing, verification, and validation. Essential responsibilities include- Develop, manage and allocate requirements & architecture blocks - Develop, review, and assess DO-254/DO-178 verification artifacts (programs plans, test reports, analysis reports, inspection reports, etc.)- Facilitate communication between disciplines facing competing priorities and work to reach consensus - Provide system expertise through all phases of product development, including requirements definition, system design and development, integration/testing, and validation - Lead creation, verification, and maintenance of multi-level requirements modules in classic DOORS and DOORS Next Gen (DNG)- Lead requirement decomposition and assign lower-level requirements to architecture components - Drive standardization of best design practices into design implementation, verification, and validation - Support Design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA)- interface with Customer organization to drive understanding, agreement, closure though formal documentation of the technical baseline (compliance matrix, verification matrix, etc.)- Provide process compliance direction and guidance to other disciplines
