His commitment to sustainable design extends beyond work—he has installed solar panels on the roof of his home that work so efficiently they actually put power back onto the grid. Otto received a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the University of Washington.
