   Provides probationary supervision for a caseload of adult offenders: reviews court records and court orders; determines obligations of offenders; conducts intake interviews; collects and records case intake data; obtains necessary records (i.e. community service records, substance abuse/mental health treatment, defensive driving, theft offender counseling, etc.); explains conditions of probation, related programs, and the consequences of probation violation; installs or coordinates on the installation of ankle monitors and tracks probationers utilizing tracking software; coordinates or conducts drug screening; prepares reports for the court regarding probationers; maintains regular communication with probationers, documents all contacts with offenders and relevant parties.• Monitors court ordered or sanctioned services with partnering agencies; monitors and verifies compliance with probation requirements, such as restitution, community service, fee and fine payments, evaluations, courses, treatment programs, etc; provides referrals information regarding counseling, community service, and monitors offenders participation in programs.• Performs court officer duties: schedules, prepares, and presents cases within mandated time limits; provides notification to probationers of upcoming hearings; identifies witnesses, victims, and other relevant individuals needed to appear in court; prepares relevant legal documents such as warrants, affidavits and tolling orders; provides testimony in court; conducts case related research; and makes recommendation for disposition of cases.• May serve as team lead in court by aiding Probation Officer I’s in presenting cases to the court and ensuring the accuracy of legal information presented to the court. In the absence of senior management staff and as designated, may serve as duty officer to oversee office operations as needed.• Participates in continuing education to maintain professional competence and certification.
