Manages the operations and provides supervision to the staff of the Return to Work Unit. Resolves the most complex or sensitive issues that relate to the Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit (Voucher). Establishes goals and objectives for the unit to effectively accomplish the mission of the Division. Represents the unit and division in meetings with staff of other agencies; stakeholders; and other interested groups. Manages and oversees the hiring; training; evaluation; technical support and supervision of professional staff statewide. Oversees statutorily mandated revisions to the RTW and SJDB benefit (rules & regulations). Evaluate the need for regulatory changes or additions and make recommendations to the Administrative Director, when necessary. Evaluate data and analyze what it means and outline trends with the benefit. Work with the supervisors in training staff to provide educational workshops and seminars as well as develop pamphlets and guides for employers; claims administrators; employees; health care professionals; vocational return to work counselors and othe stakeholders. Assists Claims Adjudication on technical issues as they relate to RTW & SJDB. Reserves as the division\'s spokeperson on issues that relate to Return to Work & Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit (Voucher) to external entities. Particpate with other managers in formulating the policies of the division; and perform other duties as required.
