ABOUT OSSAMA KHAN

CPA and ACA with over a decade of experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and assurance services across Big 4 (PwC and EY) and industry. I specialize in US GAAP and IFRS reporting, complex accounting assessments, internal controls, and multi-entity consolidations, with a strong background in SOX compliance and auditing standards.At Compass Datacenters, I lead financial reporting and technical accounting activities across a global entity structure, including preparation and review of US GAAP/IFRS financial statements, drafting technical accounting memos, overseeing critical journal entries, managing intercompany accounting, and supporting US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory audits. I also led Workiva’s first-time implementation in coordination with Embark and our offshore team, supported enhancements to derivative accounting processes, and contributed to key process improvements across the reporting function. My work includes evaluating disposals, asset sales, impairment considerations, and coordinating with investors and external auditors.Prior to Compass, I spent several years with PwC and EY leading complex audit engagements for public and private companies, supporting SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and the implementation of ASC 606 and ASC 842.
